Sugu Village Hamlet 6 Electricity Connection Project Completed

This electricity supply project was completed last month. All of the households in this remote mountain hamlet are now connected. The electricity comes from a hydro-power station in a neighbouring county. Each household only uses electricity for lighting at the moment. The voltage is low, due to excess demand in other areas, but the power station is planning to increase capacity at the end of the year.

DORS paid 18,000 RMB towards the project and the Township Government at Wusihe paid 5,000 RMB. A technician from the power station spent two days supervising the connection.
